YCMOU PhD Admission 2025-26

YCMOU.digitaluniversity.ac 2025-26 admission to the three-year PhD program is based on the PhD Entrance Test (PET) and an interview. There are seven PhD specialization options at YCMOU. Applicants must have a Master’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 55%. Admission to the PhD program at YCMOU is based on an entrance exam.

Scholarships are available to students who have passed UGC-NET (including UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF, SLET, GATE, and teacher fellowship holders) or who have been awarded an M.Phil in the relevant subject. The admit cards have already been sent out. Students are awarded scholarships based on their PET scores.

YCMOU PET EXAM 2025-26

Students may apply for the YCMOU PET EXAM 2025 until 5th June 2025. YCMOU will begin accepting applications for admission in the first week of June 2025. Applicants must take an entrance examination administered by the university. Students can fill out the application form by visiting the admission portal of the Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University.

The YCMOU PET Exam will behold on 22nd June 2025. The Yashwant Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) offers 7 disciplines for PhD students. The PhD program lasts for three years and has 120 seats. Eligibility Students must meet the eligibility criteria determined by the university. To be eligible, students must hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university (45% for students from the reserved category and differently-abled).

For MSc, Students must have cleared the UG program degree from a recognized university. Following is a description of the PET exam pattern: Online testing will be conducted for PET. Two papers, each with 100 marks and lasting one hour each. The first paper will be the same for everyone with the general aptitude and research questions. The second paper will include PG courses, NET, and SLET exams. We will conduct the YCMOU exam online in 2025. Students need an Android Phone or Laptop (Windows, Linux, Mac) with a stable internet connection to take the online exam.

YCMOU Ph.D. Fee Structure

The details of the fee structure for the PhD program would be as mentioned below:

YCMOU-PET Fee:	Rs. 500/- (Five hundred only)
PhD Program Fee:	Rs. 25,000/- per year (Twenty Five thousand per year)
PhD Thesis Submission Fee:	Rs. 15,000/- (Fifteen thousand only)
PhD Extension Fee:	Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand only)
